On Purpose Events delivered a large, multi-day corporate conference in Auckland, bringing together over 300 delegates from across Australia and New Zealand.
The project combined professional conference organising (PCO), event production and complex group travel management, requiring seamless coordination across flights, accommodation, conference delivery and offsite experiences.
Delivering a conference of this scale required managing complex logistics while maintaining a seamless delegate experience.
Key challenges included:
— Coordinating 300+ delegates travelling from multiple Australian cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth
— Managing multiple hotel properties (SkyCity Hotel precinct) and conference venue operations (Grand Millennium Auckland)
— Delivering a 2.5-day conference program with plenary sessions, breakouts and keynote speakers
— Integrating offsite experiences, gala events and transport logistics into one cohesive delegate journey
— The event needed to operate as a fully integrated ecosystem, where logistics, content and experience were perfectly aligned.

— A sailing regatta experience across multiple vessels, delivering a unique offsite activity on Auckland Harbour
