The Event

OP Events worked with world-leading private jet manufacturer BOMBARDIER, to produce the grand launch event of their 50-000 sq ft service centre in Essendon Fields Melbourne for 150+ VIP clients, global executives, dignitaries and key industry stakeholders.

Providing event solutions for a luxury global best in class brand with a VIP guest list required meticulous attention to detail and flawless event delivery.

Our event specialists worked hand-in-glove with Bombardier global marketing teams based in Singapore and Canada, and followed a strict design approval process to ensure brand consistency and seamless execution across all key touch points.

The Result

OP events produced a high end, visually beautiful yet comfortable event in Bombardier’s colossal airport hangar (in the midst of the Victorian winter!).

We brought in top tier event suppliers from our closely held network, managed complex logistics and prepared detailed run sheets, briefings and rehearsals to ensure seamless delivery on the day.

We diligently overcame challenges of how to achieve quality sound production given the unique acoustics of the venue, and managed complex event safety, security and environmental factors during setup, execution and set-down in a working airport.

One challenge which could only be managed by the client of course was the delivery of the $73 million Global 7500 business jet – by far the most impressive and largest event prop we have ever worked around.
