The Event

The 2025 Danone ANZ Conference in Port Douglas was a dynamic, purpose-driven gathering that brought together employees and leadership teams from across Australia and New Zealand. Centered on the theme “Raise The Game,” the conference fostered collaboration, inspired innovation, and accelerated progress towards Danone’s strategic goals — setting the stage for success in 2025 and beyond.

Our OP Events team delivered comprehensive, end-to-end event management, overseeing everything from selecting the ideal destination and managing over 267 return flights, to securing top-tier local vendors and ensuring every element aligned with Danone’s goals.

The 2.5-day event included a networking lunch and Mario-themed plenary, a BBQ welcome dinner, immersive workshops on AI, sustainability, and candid feedback, and a spy-inspired “Mission: Possible” dinner with aerial acts, live music, and awards. It concluded with an inspiring keynote by Paul Hockey, the first disabled person to climb Mt Everest, leaving delegates energised and aligned with Danone’s vision.

The Result

Post-event surveys revealed an average rating of 4.75 stars, with strong praise for the engaging content, immersive experiences, and operational excellence. The event was also a sustainability success, achieving a 90% reduction in print, sourcing local vendors, and selecting an environmentally responsible venue — the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort.
