The Event

In celebration of top performers across their Melbourne retail banking divisions, ANZ chose OP Events to reinvigorate their two gala awards evenings with a fresh, forward-looking event concept.

ANZ’s prestigious annual award ceremonies mean a lot to the business and its people, both in recognising those who have exceeded all expectations while inspiring others to aim for the same lofty heights of achievement.

After deep client consultation, it was clear that we needed an innovative event concept that embodied the challenges the industry and its people had faced while illuminating the path forward.

The Result

On Purpose Events brought to life ANZ “Illuminate”; an event theme designed to highlight star performers across the business alongside ANZ’s commitment to innovation, forward-thinking, pushing boundaries and letting go of traditions that no longer serve their community.

Intelligent lighting effects, glow furniture and deep contrasts lifted the iconic blue tone of ANZ, transforming both event spaces in Melbourne’s Docklands and Crown Promenade Resorts.

Guests were met by cybertron waitresses on arrival, were entertained by robotic artist performances and took home branded mirror booth photos as a keepsake of a very special evening full of recognition and celebration.
