The Event

CSL Seqirus, a world leader in Influenza vaccines, chose On Purpose Events for full-service event management of their company virtual gala awards.

Shifting from a “webinar style” one-way stream format, we were challenged to bring to life a “not normal formal” within the virtual environment, translating CSL Seqirus’ historically in-person gala to an entertaining and highly interactive online awards evening for the organisation.

CSL Seqirus sought a virtual event that beamed with interaction and allowed for inter team and organisation-wide networking, engagement and fun!

The Result

OPE designed the CSL Seqirus gala event program, integrated the virtual event technology solution, engaged emcee / entertainers and successfully produced a live stream awards ceremony for 200+ of the CSL Seqirus team and their families.

Attendees first enjoyed an at home dinner in pre-assigned virtual team break out rooms. Award presentations included animated slides, music stings and voice of God, and pre-recorded “family and friends” video content for a personalised evening of entertainment.

Attendees celebrated their peers through live chat and applause, and select winners were surprised with in-person award deliveries from the leadership team, captured through mobile live streams from their front doors. The evening culminated with an after party featuring a top Australian DJ and fun dance-off competitions,
