We brought in top tier event suppliers from our closely held network, managed complex logistics and prepared detailed run sheets, briefings and rehearsals to ensure seamless delivery on the day.

We diligently overcame challenges of how to achieve quality sound production given the unique acoustics of the venue, and managed complex event safety, security and environmental factors during setup, execution and set-down in a working airport.

One challenge which could only be managed by the client of course was the delivery of the $73 million Global 7500 business jet – by far the most impressive and largest event prop we have ever worked around.

Our goal was for attendees to experience a true sense of Bombardier’s company values of; People &amp; Customers, Performance, Excellence, Team Work and Authenticity. To know that they are part of the Bombardier family, to experience Bombardier’s commitment to excellence at all levels, and to deepen their affinity to the brand. Client and attendee feedback shows we surpassed all expectations - achieving a standard of excellence that has set the bar for future Bombardier global event programs.

OP events produced the inaugural Benevolent Society Carer Gateway Carnivale Day at Pyrmont Park in Sydney to celebrate Australia's 2.7 million unpaid carers.

We conceptualised a fun, relaxing and family-friendly carnival themed event to be welcoming and inclusive to carers and their families, and a true celebration of carers' contributions.

Hosting a large-scale event such as this in a public parkland called for detailed event management plans, rigorous event risk, health and safety assessment, and thorough stakeholder engagement, all of which was expertly steered by our OP event specialists.

<h2>The Result</h2>
On Purpose facilitated seamless, full scale event planning and management of the Benevolent Society Carer Gateway Carnival Day.

Carers and their families came together in Sydney to enjoy fun live entertainment and a range of curated wellness activities from art therapy and group mindfulness exercises to arts and crafts, dress-ups and games for the kids to enjoy.

A range of food trucks were available for attendees to pick up a bite to eat, and picnic zones were dotted throughout the event site for families to relax and enjoy the carnival atmosphere.

Information stalls were setup for the Carer gateway team and partners to answer questions and offer support to those in a caring role or new to caregiving.

Despite a rainy day in Sydney we welcomed 1500+ carers and their families to the event and were deeply humbled to play our part in celebrating those that dedicate their lives to caring for our loved ones.

We are thrilled to be working with Benevolent on event planning for the 2024 carer’s festival.
